Clicking here, by the way, will bring up a Google map showing where PTN is resting before her long flight home (click on "satellite" to see the terrain). If the weather is not too inclement we may start back tomorrow morning, but there's no rush. Once again, we intend to take several days over our journey, the furthest we have ever been in this aircraft, although flying to Portage La Prairie in 1999 came close.
We have just wished "Bon voyage!" to the other people staying at the Auberge in Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon. At 11p.m. this evening these two French-Quebec couples from Charlevoix will be embarking on the Nordik Express that will sail for two nights, stopping at the little harbours during the daytime, before bringing them to Natashquan on Sunday. Who knows? It's possible we may see them again if we too decide to stop there.
